DAILY MOJO BOOSTERS

When life feels BLAH, sometimes you need a bit of a pick-me-up. You need what I call a MOJO BOOSTER, which lifts your mood almost instantly.
I recommend you keep a list of mood boosters, so you can get yourself back up and running in no time! Here are a few ideas to get you started:
  1. Songs that get you singing or dancing
  2. Memories that make you smile or laugh
  3. Things that you enjoy doing (that you can do on the spot)
  4. Funny things you hear (side conversations, things little ones say, etc)
  5. Favorite movies 
  6. A 20 minute walk outside (near trees if you can!)

The Japanese have studied and perfected a therapy called: Shinrin-Yoku, otherwise known as forest bathing. Basically you spend time outside, among trees. 

The idea is simple: if a person simply visits a natural area and walks in a relaxed way there are calming, rejuvenating and restorative benefits to be achieved.

The scientifically-proven benefits of Shinrin-yoku include:
